You are enough

Many people today feel sad or empty, even if they have food, a phone, or a place to live. One big reason is comparison. We see others on social media who seem happy, rich, or good-looking. But we don’t see their full life, only the good parts that they choose to show. This makes us think we are not doing well, even if we are.
Always comparing yourself to others can make you feel like you’re not enough. But this is not true. Everyone has their own affections. What helps is gratitude for being thankful for what you already have. When you truly feel thankful, it can bring a little light into your dark day.
Sadness doesn’t stay all the time. Even on hard days, there are small good moments of laughter, a kind word, or a nice sunset. Notice those moments. They are signs of hope.
Also, don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you let yourself feel happy. Life will never be perfect. You can still feel peace even if some things are not okay.
Instead of thinking, “Why am I so sad?”, try asking, “Who do I want to be?” Then take one small step toward that. A goal, even a tiny one gives you a reason to get up each day.
And always remember that you don’t have to be like anyone else. Your life, your pace, your story is what matters most.
