I didn’t even know “rejection sensitivity” was a thing until I read about it. It’s when you take rejection super hard, even if it’s small. Like, if someone doesn’t reply to your text, your brain goes “they hate me” instead of “maybe they’re just busy.” I’ve felt that before, and it really messes with your confidence.
The best way to handle it is by checking your thoughts. Just because something feels personal doesn’t mean it is. Also, talking to someone helps, even if it’s just a friend. When you realize other people feel the same way sometimes, it’s less scary. Rejection is a part of life, and it doesn’t define your worth.
