A student's life is not always easy. Sometimes work can pile up, because of outside circumstances, or the teacher's expectations may be held to a very high standard that one assignment a day is not enough or even sometimes laziness. Which is what will be focused on today. More often than not laziness can be due to a lack of motivation, which leads to procrastination and bad habits. Overcoming this laziness and procrastination can be done by learning what motivates you, how to create good habits, how to manage your time and what you enjoy.
First of all, to find motivation, learning to have joy in your work is an important aspect, you can do this by connecting your interests with your work. For example, maybe you like video games, and you find joy in getting a win or rising up in the ranks (going from bronze to platinum). You can implement this feeling by setting goals for yourself. Studying for an hour equals a bronze rank and 2 hours gold, etc. As you see yourself going up in the ranks it can help find a sense of fulfillment and motivation to work harder and harder.
Adding on to this, creating good habits through repetition will help you avoid that endless loop of nothingness. While also helping you reach your goals, develop both personally and professionally, and feel fulfilled. Achieving a work life balance and learning to manage your time will reduce stress levels and build confidence, while also helping you not take your time for granted. Overcoming Procrastination.
