It’s hard to tell whenever someone feels emotion just by looking at them or by what they post online. Someone might seem happy on the outside, but feel very different inside. That’s why it’s important to remember that we all have mental health.
Mental health is about our emotions, feelings, moods and thoughts. It’s normal to feel happy sometimes, sad, or confident. But it’s also normal to feel excited, stressed, or angry.
Sometimes we only like to share the good stuff and hide how we really feel. But when someone actually opens up, it can give us the courage to talk too. Even if talking doesn’t fix everything, just being heard helps. And if things still feel heavy like nothing is fun anymore or you always feel tired or alone it’s okay to ask for help.
Mental health problems can happen because of life events, or for no clear reasons at all. Either way, they’re real and support is out there. Don’t be afraid to talk to someone you trust when you’re feeling overwhelmed.
Here are some steps you can take to improve your mental health:
Talk to someone you trust, whether it’s your family, friend, or a teacher.
Make yourself occupied, like reading, drawing, playing music, or spending time with someone.
Exercising can really help boost your mood.
Write down your thoughts if you don’t feel ready to talk yet.
Remember, it’s important to take care of your mental health just like your physical health. You are not alone in this. It’s okay to not feel okay sometimes, and talking helps. And above all, we all have mental health.
