How to Spot Symptoms of Anxiety

Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress, whenever you’re about to take a test, when you’re about to present in front of a crowd, or even when you’re dealing with an overwhelming situation. Anxiety happens to everyone and even yourself. Anxiety can also sometimes lead to other symptoms such as depression. When learning about anxiety, it’s important to spot the signs of anxiety before a panic attack happens.
So what are the signs of anxiety? Firstly, feeling uneasy, having an increased heart rate, or having a headache can be one of the symptoms of anxiety. When overwhelmed you may start to feel your head hurting. That’s because your head is overflowing with overthinking which can cause you to feel uneasy. Procrastination and inability to concentrate are another symptom of anxiety. You, or someone you know could be procrastinating because of the fear of being wrong. A big example of a sign of anxiety is inability to stay calm and still. This can lead to a panic attack.
Now that you know some of the signs, Here are some ways you can prevent yourself or others from having a panic attack due to anxiety. When you spot someone being anxious, comfort them, ask them if they’re okay, and be sure if they’re okay. Later on, use some relaxation techniques such as deep breathing and meditation.
