Doing exercises is good for your body, and also good for your mental health to get your mind off all the stress that is going on when facing academic challenges in high school, getting chores done in the house, working if we have a job, volunteering to get 40 hours or more and being part of high school clubs.

What happens when you do exercises?
When doing exercises, your body feels good, you have energy needed for the day, you stay fit, you feel warmed up before doing sports and reduces all the stress that is going on in your mind. It is good to be in the gym at some point of the day once or twice a week in elementary school, taking the gym credit in high school, taking fitness in grade 11 or 12 and attending a gym in your area. Breathing exercises is called Meditation, which are good exercises for anxiety and helps you relax.
5 top exercises that help reduce stress
Walking/Jogging: Going for a walk or jog outside for at least an hour or more helps your mind think about positive things that will happen and you get to see the beautiful nature with all the flowers, trees, plants and the bright sky, which gets your mind off the negativity about what is going on in your life.
Stretching: Stretching releases muscle tension, which would help your muscles ease all the stress that is happening inside you.
Dancing: Dancing is also a good workout for you, because it involves moving your body with music playing, which the music will get your mind off all the negative things you are dealing with. Different types of dances are ballet dancing, playing just dance, hula dancing, tap dancing, belly dancing, salsa, and of course, TikTok dancing.
Deep Breathing: Deep breathing is a good exercise when you are feeling anxious about something you have never done before and worried that something bad might happen once you start doing it. It is also a warm up before going on stage when you do singing, acting and musical theatre which mostly helps your diaphragm feel relaxed and when you get nervous doing your first performance.
Jumping Jacks/High Knees: Doing jumping jacks or high knees quickly lowers your stress and increases the energy you need for the day with a short burst of cardio. This is a good warm up before playing sports in gym class, which in gym you need to warm up everyday before playing any sports and before dancing as well.
